How can I create a Metavent profile for each of my team members?

Login to www.creator.metavent.io using your account username and password. Once you enter the website, scroll down to Settings to create a Metavent profile for your team.  You can also view this article for more information on how to create your Metavent profile. 

How do I add users to my Metavent account?

You can add users by scrolling to Users from the Metavent dashboard. Enter the required information and select the type of user you need for your event. This article provides additional information on how to add users.

What types of permissions can I grant a user on my team?

You can provide users with permission to access select events, changing  event options, upload assets to create your virtual venue, and more. Visit this article for a detailed breakdown on permissions.

Can I create groups of users to access on select events?

Yes! We call this option, Departments, and it allows you to group your users. To learn how to assign tasks to your Departments, click this article for more information. 

How do I add a new event?

You will need to login to www.creator.metavent.io. Next, scroll to Event then select the Add New Event button in the new pop-up window. To find more information on creating your special event, click on this article for step-by-step instructions.

Can I create and monitor registration for my event?

Great question! The answer is yes. First, after selecting your event, select Registration to create your registration email for your attendees. You can also monitor who has registered for your event over time. Click on this article for more information. 

How can I customize my Virtual Venue?

Metavent offers many opportunities to customize your virtual venue to match your event theme. Additionally you can upload sponsor images and videos to create an interactive experience. This article goes into detail about the magic you can create with Metavent. 

My event is live! How can I monitor what's going on?

All the features to monitor the event can be found in the Live! Control Center. Here can track your attendees as they move through the virtual venue, manually add attendees, create polls and questions for attendee interaction and more. Click on this article to learn where to start. 

How do I build my Event Agenda?

This is a simple process with Metavent. After selecting your event, scroll down to Event Schedule and begin to add your event sessions. Here you can adjust your event times, add videos and more. This article will provide detailed information about all the available features. 

There was a change to my event! How do I let my attendees know?

Metavent has live notifications that can inform attendees of any changes to the event. You can also schedule your alerts to move attendees through the virtual venue experience. First, while in your event, go to the Live! Control Center. Then under Notifications, you can add your alert, enter your message and the type of alert (normal or red alert). 

My attendees are socializing in the chat, but I want to moderate what they are saying. 

Metavent features several chat room features. To moderate your chat rooms, the Live! Control Center has a feature called Chat Controls. Once you open this window, it will display a list of your rooms and you can see which attendees are interacting in each room. From here, you will be able to select the option to flag users, ban attendees and remove attendees at will. For more detailed instructions, click on this article. 

My attendees want to submit live questions to my speaker during a session. How do I do this?

Thanks for asking! Questions in Metavent allow users to submit questions to the speaker seamlessly. In the Live! Control Center, select Questions and input the information you want to display. Click this article to learn more. 

How can I create a poll for my event?

Polls are a great way to engage with your attendees. Metavent provides a feature called Polls, which can be found in the Live! Control Center. Check out this article for more information.
