Branding Your Event

Metavent offers various options to create your perfect event. The Conference Center is a virtual conference center that can be built to host any number of events. For an exotic experience, try out the Rainforest, a tropical venue that offers the sights and sounds of the rainforest in place of your typical event rooms.

To create this magic, metavent provides you with the ability to customize your virtual venue for your event.

To begin, navigate to the Events tab in the dashboard, select your event, then scroll down to Virtual Venue in the menu. 

Once the page loads, you will see several categories:

Log In Page is where you will customize your event landing page. Upload your company logo, add a welcome message, upload a page background image and customize your page color palette.

Global is the metavent navigation bar that will be present throughout your event. You can upload your company logo to be displayed, rename your event rooms as desired, enable a digital photo booth and display your event agenda.

Registration Page allows you to create a unique registration page for your attendees. Using the unique URL you created earlier, select the page background images and colors, update your event information due to any event changes, and provide Explorers the opportunity to submit any questions or concerns. 

Entrance creates your event’s first impression. When the virtual door opens, your preferred voiceover will play and your entrance images will show at that time, based on the virtual venue you selected.

Lobby is your opportunity to upload images of your brand, post speaker headshots and  marketing messages for your event.

Keynotes allows you to summarize the core message of your event and highlight your speaker(s) by uploading an image of your speaker(s), upload pictures of your company logo, and other graphic design elements you want to include.

Junction is another opportunity to brand your event. Customize it by uploading images that fit your event theme.

Sponsor Zone creates a sponsorship opportunity for your event. Based on the number of rooms you enabled in Event Options, you can upload a sponsor’s image or logo and provide sponsor information for each meeting room created. 

Courtyard is an extension of the type of virtual venue you selected. You can select images to display, such as your company logo or sponsorship messages, as your Explorers move through your event.

Breakout Room allows you to create a unique meeting space for each breakout session. Choose your choice of images to display and present your meeting room information, such as the meeting theme or speaker details, for each breakout room.

Network Alley provides you with two types of meeting rooms, public or private, which are enabled in Event Options. In Virtual Venue, customize each meeting room by selecting images to promote the activities in the meeting room, display your meeting room information, and customize the room options.

Track the progress of your Virtual Venue in each individual category that you work on or by viewing Asset Buckets, located on the left hand side of the page. You can also track each action by viewing Activity Log, below Asset Buckets, and view which users completed each action. 

Finally, you are ready to click on the green Submit Virtual Venue button. This creates your Virtual Venue and you can use a test user account to view your work. 

Metavent recommends reviewing your Virtual Venue before your event and to test your meeting rooms with any speakers or users to ensure that all the digital media and logos are displayed correctly and working properly. Start by logging into your event and click on Registration. Under Registration Options, copy and paste your unique event URL address in a new browser window. Using a test user account, log in to the event page and navigate through your event to view your experience. Make note of any updates you need to make and return to Virtual Venue to update your event as necessary.
