Moderating communication between Explorers (commonly known as “attendees”) is vital to a smooth and frictionless event. With metavent, chat moderation is easy to perform.
First, enter your live event from Events, enter your live event and open Live! Control Center. Under Chat Controls, you will see Chat Room List, which lists all of your active chats in session. Once you click on an active chat room, to your right Moderate Chat Users will list all of the Explorers utilizing the indicated chat room.
If there is a report of an Explorer causing misconduct in your event, you can scroll to find the Explorer and by clicking on the icons next to their name, set actions that will limit their participation in metavent.
For minor infractions, click on the flag icon to the right to indicate that the Explorer’s actions are being monitored by your team. For more serious infractions, you can select the red circle with a slash, which will ban the Explorer from participating in the chat. For egregious infractions, you can ban the Explorer from the chat completely by clicking on the red box next to their name.
Chat moderation is especially important and metavent provides you with simple tools to help you manage and enforce good behavior during your event.
