Creating Permissions

Metavent provides you the ability to create your own permission levels.

To begin, select Users from the event menu and click on Permissions. The page will show all users and/or the group name who have assigned permissions. To assign new permissions to an individual or group, locate Add Permission on the left hand side of the page and click to open the window. A pop-up window will appear and you can complete the fields indicated, including Name, Description, and the status of the permission, which you can toggle as Active/Inactive at will. Scrolling down the screen will reveal the permissions available you can set the status as allowed or denied. Please note that all the options will default to denied unless enabled by the user. Make sure to select Save Permissions Group to save all your changes..

As a best practice we recommend assigning no more than 5 permission levels to avoid conflicting permissions among your events.
