On your first visit to metavent, you will navigate to the Settings area in the left hand side of your screen.
You’ll be presented with a form in which you need to complete your company details. Add your name, company name, phone number, email address and social profile information, and upload both your company logo at the bottom of the page, as well as your own photo at the top of the page.
Then click on the Account tab, in the middle at the top of the screen, and change your password to something that is unique to you. Remember not to make it too obvious so that no one can guess what it might be. Your password should contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character and be at least 8 digits long.
Lastly, click on the third tab at the top of the screen titled Permissions and review your permission levels. Department Administrator is the all access level, which should be restricted to only those people within your company who need complete access to metavent. Event Manager has more limited permissions which include access to create and manage events only, followed by View All - no edits, which is a view only permission mode.
